Terminologies

The Categorized Efficacy Outcomes is an externally maintained terminology, copyrighted by Linca Telecomunicações, and published openly by Linca Telecomunicações.

The Evidence-Based Medicine on FHIR Implementation Guide Code System and the Evidence Report Section Code Value Set are currently defined within the EBMonFHIR IG.

We are also using the concepts below to determine the type of treatment related to the artifact.

ATC: International standard for organizing drugs based on their organ system of action, therapeutic purpose, and chemical characteristics. We use ATC to identify drug treatments through their codes in their essence, based on the active ingredient and excluding the brand.
ICHI: System for standardized reporting and analysis of health interventions across clinical, primary care, and public health settings. We use ICHI to identify non-drug treatments through their codes.
GTIN: It is a globally unique identifier for products, such as pharmaceuticals and medical devices, used in supply chains to ensure accurate data capture and improve patient safety. We use it to identify the active ingredient of a drug treatment, representing its brand.
CID-11: The most recent edition of the International Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems. We use ICD-11 to identify the disease through the code that represents it.
